How long is the promotion running?

The promotion runs from 12:01am AEDT on 18 March 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 14 April 2026. No entries will be accepted outside of this period.

 

Where is the promotion running?

The promotion is running nationally in Australia at participating New Sunrise retailers that stock participating products and display promotional material.

 

What can I win?

There are 28 daily draws across the promotion period.

Each day:

  • 1 x Major Prize: $1,000 JB Hi-Fi Gift Card OR $1,000 Bunnings Gift Card (winner selects preference at time of entry)
  • 1 x Minor Prize: $100 Digital Vault Prepaid Mastercard® 

Total prize pool: $30,800.

Prizes are limited to one (1) Major Prize and one (1) Minor Prize per person. South Australian residents are eligible to win one (1) prize per entry.

 

Who can enter?

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 16 years or older. Entrants under 18 must have parent or guardian permission. If under 18 and you win, the prize may be awarded to your parent/guardian.

Employees of the Promoter, associated agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

 

How do I enter?

To enter:

  1. Purchase any participating product from a participating New Sunrise retailer during the promotion period.
  2. Scan the QR code on promotional materials or visit www.newsunrisewins.com.au.
  3. Complete the online entry form.
  4. Upload a clear photo or scan of your purchase receipt.
  5. Select your preferred gift card (JB Hi-Fi or Bunnings).
  6. Submit your entry.

You must retain your original receipt.

 

How many times can I enter?

  • You may enter multiple times, subject to:
  • Maximum 1 entry per qualifying transaction
  • Maximum 3 entries per person per day (based on mobile number)
  • Each entry must be submitted separately
  • Receipt must be retained for each entry

 

When are the draws conducted?

There are 28 daily draws (one per day of the promotion).

Entries are not carried over into subsequent daily draws.

 

How will winners be notified?

Winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of their draw. Winner details (first initial, last name and postcode) will be published at newsunrisewins.com.au.

 

How long do I have to claim my prize?

Prizes must be claimed by 11:59pm AEST on 15 May 2026.

If unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw (if required) will take place on 18 May 2026 at 11:00am AEST. Unclaimed prize winners will be published on 21 May 2026.

 

How will I receive my prize?

Once your entry is verified and confirmed valid, your prize will be delivered within 28 days.

The Digital Vault Prepaid Mastercard® must be activated within 2 months of issue and is valid for 12 months after activation. Unused balances are forfeited after expiry.

 

Are prizes transferable or redeemable for cash?

No. Prizes are not transferable, cannot be exchanged, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

What proof of purchase do I need?

Your receipt must clearly show:

  • The participating retailer
  • The participating product purchased
  • Date of purchase (within the promotion period)

You must retain your receipt as proof of purchase. Failure to provide proof when requested may result in entry invalidation.
